Quote of the Month:

"Thoughts are an important part of our inner wisdom. And they are powerful. A thought held long enough and repeated often enough becomes a belief. A belief then becomes our biology. Beliefs are energetic forces that create the physical basis for our individual lives and our health."

-- Dr. Christiane Northrup

Do You Need Some Headspace?

Are you overwhelmed with worry and stress? Do you have trouble relaxing and sleeping? Research has shown that after only a few days of learning to meditate, brain activity begins to change with decreased stress and improved mood.

You can now download the free Headspace meditation app (iPhone and Android devices). It includes a free 10-day program to begin meditating for only 10 minutes a day. The program is unique because it takes a simple approach to meditating. It demystifies meditation in an easy-to-learn, fun-to-do way.

You can repeat the first 10 days as often as you wish or you can choose to purchase more programs for up to 365 days of unique meditations.

Learn to be an observer of your thoughts!

You may say that you are too busy to meditate this time of year. However, if you invest just 10 minutes each day in your health and well-being, you will be able to enjoy the holidays much more. You will feel more grounded, more energized, and because you will be more aware of your thoughts and how they affect your mood, you will feel happier.

You can download the Headspace app from the app store in your phone or from the Headspace website
