I have been a British runner for over 30 years & intend to continue for another 30 at least!
Friends are always amazed at how I have stayed so motivated & injury free but reading your newsletters I see I'm not alone.
When I had my own business, running would help sort out problems & deal with stress.
When I was a Mum with young children it was a chance for some peace & me time.
When my children started school I started a running club from school to inspire other Mums. 10 years later our running club which meets from school on a Friday morning has grown from just two of us to many more. Some even who have left come back to run.
We now have running weekends & join races together & raise money for charity.
When conditions are difficult these can be the most memorable runs.
