Tap Away Running Injuries

What is the tapping solution and how can it help you recover from running injuries? Tapping or the Emotional Freedom Technique involves tapping on meridian points or energy points to stimulate healing. These tapping points are based on traditional Chinese medicine and are similar to the principles used in acupuncture today.

The basic technique is simple and one you can easily learn. It involves focusing on a negative emotion that is currently present for you. It could be related to pain, fear, anxiety, a bad experience, illness, weight-loss, or insomnia. Basically, you can tap on any issue that is creating a problem for you and is limiting your growth.

While mentally focusing on the issue, use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on each of the 9 meridian points. There can be slight variations to this practice, but this is the basic practice known as tapping or the Emotional Freedom Technique.

So how does the tapping solution work? And can it really help you recover from running injuries? Read more at: Tapping for Runners.
